We’re back!

And Tobey couldn’t be any happier!…

See how happy he is? Or maybe just hungry again…

So what happened? Well, we had a breach on the site. Took it down, nuked the server, and just have been taking some time to bring the site back to life. Thank someone in France for all of this. I have by going down the path of picking up cyber security information; so thank you unknown attacker, as you’ve set me on an interesting path in my career just from your actions.

I’ve got great plans for the site coming up in 2022, and look forward to posting the details about projects I’ve completed and also still working through. Expect to see articles about EDI (electronic data interchange), SQL, Python, C#, and definitely cyber security issues.

I’m also picking up where I left off on building Ben Eater’s (https://eater.net/8bit) 8 bit computer on breadboards. I’d completed the clock module on the breadboard, and had built out just the astable timer on it’s own PCB (https://github.com/a10001110101/PCBs/tree/main/555Timer). The last two things I was working on was all three types of timers on a PCB (https://github.com/a10001110101/PCBs/tree/main/Full555Timer) and starting the registers. This project is quite interesting to me as it’s giving me knowledge on various fields that I never would have learned without doing this. I’m hoping to have the entire computer built by the end of 2022, but we’ll see how that works out.

2022 is going to be a great year, and I’m excited to share these projects with you.

Cheers!
